Your mission
Your mission
Neptune Software, founded in 2011 in Oslo, Norway, helps enterprises modernise and scale digital processes through Neptune DXP — a rapid application development platform used by global leader companies.
We are strengthening our Product & Engineering organisation. We are seeking a Product Delivery Manager to bring clarity, predictability, and accountability to how we deliver Neptune DXP, starting with the Open Edition.
This is a senior, high-impact role. You are the single point of truth for product delivery across Product and Engineering. When timelines drift, priorities collide, or expectations diverge, you step in with facts, trade-offs, and decisions. You don’t just track delivery, you shape it.
You work closely with the VP of Engineering together with product management to ensure that delivery commitments are realistic, transparent, and with responsibilities over the Quality Assessment team, and that the organisation learns quickly when reality changes.
This role suits someone who thrives in complex situations and views delivery and quality as a leadership discipline, not a reporting function.

Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve Neptune’s product delivery framework across Product and Engineering — from idea, quality to release.
- Act as the delivery authority and integrator across teams, ensuring one shared view on scope, progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Build and manage the Product Delivery Value Stream, identifying bottlenecks, dependencies, and systemic constraints.
- Own delivery commitments and escalate risks early.
- Challenge the delivery assumptions and sequencing with data, judgment, and experience. Drive trade-off decisions across scope, quality, and time in close partnership with Product and Engineering leadership.
- Ensure milestones, features, and user stories are clearly defined, well-scoped, and tied to customer and product outcomes.
- Introduce and track delivery metrics such as predictability, lead time, flow efficiency, and quality, and ensure they are used to drive decisions, not just for show.
- Facilitate alignment and expectation management between Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and executive stakeholders.
- Capture delivery insights and patterns, using them to raise delivery maturity, accountability, and ownership across the organisation.
