Your mission

We are now strengthening our People & Culture team and are looking for an HR Intern to support our global HR operations. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to meaningful HR initiatives in a fast-growing international tech company.
 
This is an on-site position based in Tomar. Candidates must also be registered with Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional, I.P. (IEFP) to be eligible for this internship program.
 
You will collaborate closely with our Senior Global HR Manager (Germany) and the Chief People Officer (Norway), integrating into daily operations, supporting internal processes, and learning how a modern HR function operates across multiple regions. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse, global team across 34+ countries. You will be exposed to various facets of HR, while developing your communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support the maintenance and updating of employee data within HR systems.
  • Participate in the preparation and handling of employment documentation.
  • Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience.
  • Contribute to the preparation of HR reports, indicators, and dashboards.
  • Support compliance activities and help ensure alignment with internal HR policies.
  • Assist in organizing engagement initiatives, internal communications, and company-wide activities.
  • Participate in documenting processes and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Learn and understand the legal framework related to employee administration, hiring, and terminations.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR team to understand the full employee lifecycle and HR operations.

Your profile
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be registered with Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional, I.P. (IEFP).
  • Strong interest in Human Resources, People Operations, or related fields.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with professionalism, discretion, and strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a structured manner with guidance.
  • Proactive, positive, and eager to learn.
  • Fluency in English.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related studies.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes, employment documentation, or compliance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (Personio) or tools is an advantage.

This is an on-site internship based in Tomar and is intended for young unemployed candidates aged 35 or under who hold a Level 6 qualification under the Quadro Nacional de Qualificações (QNQ).
